Welcoming, Fun, Unconventional, Indulgent...

While our products are innovative and daring, our atmosphere is nostalgic and comforting; we’re a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can gather together and reconnect with their earliest and happiest memories of enjoying sweet, decadent frozen treats. We hope that you’ll “lick local”, indulge and expect the unexpected!

What people are saying about PJKs

Chef Peter Korth has a genius for sweets. Translated into ice cream, that means some of the dreamiest flavors ever concocted—imaginative and sophisticated, but with the emphasis firmly on fun. And ice cream ought to be fun.

Finally, we have actual artisan ice creams in Salt Lake City, which is absolutely exciting! Their unique collaborations and commitment to local is what makes PJK’s one of a kind. I love that their flavors are like nothing you have every had, it’s exactly what you want from an ice cream shop! Of course, my favorite is the Peanut Butter Ice Cream with chocolate-coated pretzels and roasted, salted peanuts — it’s the perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate that surprises you with a delicious crunch of chocolate covered pretzels! To die for!

There’s been a hole in the Salt Lake City ice cream scene for years, and after tasting Peters ice cream creations I can hardly wait for the rest of this city of ice cream lovers to have a bite!

I was one of the luckiest of luckies the other week when I got a preview trial of the amazing creamery styling of Chef Peter Korth. His new venture will have 16 standard offerings + seasonal flavors. And by “standard” I mean not standard AT all.

Yes.  I ate ridiculous amounts of ice cream in one sitting. My fave? Peach Ice Cream with High West Distillery Whiskey Toffee and Swirl & Chipotle Toasted Pecans.
